Shrub Trimming

Keep Your Shrubs Neat, Healthy, and Well-Shaped

When shrubs, hedges, and small trees grow out of control, it affects the entire look of your yard. Overgrown plants can make your property feel messy and unkept. More importantly, not trimming or pruning at the right time can weaken the plant and lead to poor health.

At Rasmussen Landscaping LLC, we know how and when to trim each type of plant properly. Our team brings strong plant knowledge and attention to detail to every trimming service.

Seasonal Trimming That Supports Healthy Growth

We offer shrub trimming and pruning twice a year, in June and September, to keep your plants healthy and looking their best.

Between April and June, plants grow quickly, making June the ideal time for the first trim. By September, another round of growth often appears, so we return for a final cleanup before fall.

Trimming shapes overgrown shrubs to keep them neat, while pruning removes dead or diseased branches to support healthier growth.

Both methods help sunlight reach the plant, improve strength, and extend its life. Regular care also prevents plants from growing into walkways, rooftops, or windows, keeping your yard clean, safe, and well maintained.
