Lawn Installation/ Sod/Seeding
If you need a new lawn or want to fix bare patches, Rasmussen Landscaping LLC can install sod or seed to get your grass growing again. Fall is the best time to do this, with early spring as a close second.
Sod gives you an instant lawn with proper care and watering. Seeding is a better choice for larger areas. We cover the seed with straw or curlex for protection, especially on slopes.
We prep the area by removing rocks and breaking up compacted soil. If needed, we add topsoil and use the right seed or fertilizer for your lawn. We can also help with watering and recommend a soil test to check for missing nutrients. We collect samples from your yard and send them to a certified lab to get the best results.
Erosion Control/Drainage
Rasmussen Landscaping LLC has enough experience to know how to avoid and combat drainage issues.
We do this through the use of rock swales, French drains, plants that absorb a lot of water, dry wells, and underground PVC pipe/drain box, erosion control fabrics.
Flower Pots
Rasmussen Landscaping LLC will go pick out flowers of your choice and liking. We can even bring in new potting soil if needed.
We have a wide variety of choices available and can get almost any plant you would like. We can help you determine particular styles or colors, if they belong in the shade or sun, or if they should be annuals or perennials.
We typically do flower pots in early spring when annuals start to grow.

Our property maintenance includes this service, and you can bet that we will be over the next day cleaning up your fallen leaves / debris.
Deer Fencing
Marylanders know that deer are heavily populated throughout our state. Therefore, they cause lots of damage to trees and plants.
We’ll inspect any areas where deer may have caused damage and make suggestions and recommendations to prevent the same issues from occurring again. We'll even install deer fencing where needed!
